Am missing a point wherever someone tells us “let Kenyans decide”.We have varied opinions when it comes to the manner in which we exercise our democratic rights. However, we can choose to agree under some stringent circumstances.Kenya is a nation formed by 42 tribes who have a deep rooted tribal alienation and its always crystal clear shown by a voting system.
In the last couple of general elections, have been marred by violence the worst being the 2007/08 violence that sent the nation to its knees. It’s all believed that some personalities were behind the wide spread massacres and are key political figures in Kenya. This was established after a commission was set up to investigate the bloody happenings. The suitability of a person indicted by the International Criminal Court lies in imbalances owing to the repercussions.Lets be candid and avoid sitting on the fence. A key suspect at the ICC doesn’t qualify to run for any public office. It is a damn sin.
It is true that such a leadership by a key suspect of masterminding a bloody violence has an apocalyptic result. Lets try to engage the affected victims of PEV and share their experience.Justice will be granted to the victims.
